Anne Celeste Heche was an American actress known for her work in a variety of types of film, television and theater. She was awarded numerous awards, including her Daytime Emmy Award as well as the National Board of Review Award. Anne Celeste Heche was an American actor. She passed away on the 11th of August 2022. In 1987-1991, she gained fame for her performance as Victoria Hudson's sister Marley Love. This led to two Soap Opera Digest Awards and an Daytime Emmy Award. Her fame grew in the late 1990s when she appeared in films such as the crime drama Donnie Brasco (1997), the disaster film Volcano (1997) Donnie Brasco (1997) the disaster film Volcano (1997) Volcano (1997), the horror movie I Know What You Did The Last Summer (1997) and the political satire film Wag the Dog (1997) the action-comedy movie Six Days Seven Nights (1998) as well as the dramatic-thriller movie Return to Paradise (1998). Anne Lockhart was born Anne Kathleen Maloney on September 6, 1953. She is an American actor. She is best known for her role as Lieutenant Sheba in the television show Battlestar Galactica ( 1978-1979). She is the daughter and granddaughter of daughter of actor Gene Lockhart, as well as the actress June Lockhart. Lockhart was only a few years old when she began her acting career. The film T is for Tumbleweed, the first role for Lockhart in a film came when she was just four years old. It was nominated for an Academy Award in this short film. She spent time with her mother on the location where she was taught about the inner workings of the company. Lockhart even appeared in several scenes of Lassie. Dora in Jory, 1972 was her first film. The year was 1972 and she was 18 years old when she portrayed the daughter of Joan Crawford on The Sixth Sense. Joan was the last actress in the series to be featured on The Sixth sense. There is a popular belief that Anne did not want to play the part in the film Laurie Strode in John Carpenter's 1978 thriller Halloween which was later recast for Jaime Lee Curtis. Carpenter states that the actress rejected his proposal to portray Laurie Strode. Anne did not recall approached by John Carpenter nor being offered the job. Perhaps her agent turned the part away without informing Anne. The initial decision was by Glen Larson who sent her an initial script for the role on the 1978 TV series Battlestar Galactica. The actress initially refused the role because she felt her character was weak. Glen came up with a completely new character to play for her featuring Sheba being a more formidable character. After reading the first 25 pages of story The Living Legend she accepted immediately. The show ran for one season. She appeared in Joyride (1977) which was a film that she co-starred in and was in the film alongside Desi Arnaz Jr. Melanie Griffith, Robert Carradine.
