Stevie Wonder

Stevie WonderStevland Morris (ne Judkins, May 13 1950) also known as Stevie Wonder is an American singer-songwriter. It is said that he is credited with being the first to pioneer a wide range of genres, including soul, rhythm and blues as well as gospel, jazz soul gospel and funk. A virtual one-man band Wonder's use of synthesizers and other electronic instruments in the 1970s revolutionized the structure of R&B. He also helped push these genres into the album era and made his LPs unison and consistent, in addition to expressive and socially conscious compositions. Wonder, who was born blind shortly after his birth was signed at Motown's Tamla label at the age of 11. In the Tamla label, he was awarded the professional title Little Stevie Wonder. Wonder's critical acclaim was at its highest in the 1970s. His "classic period", beginning in 1972 was the time of release of Music of My Mind. Talking Book featured "Superstition" as one of the most renowned and distinctive sounds of the Hohner Clavinet keyboard. He won the Grammy Award as Album of the year for Innervisions (1973), FulfillingnessThe First Finale (1974), and Songs in the Key of Life ( 1976). This is the record holder of the most Album of the year awards with three. Wonder is the only artist to have received the award for three consecutive album releases. Wonder started his "commercial period" in the 1980s. he achieved his biggest songs and the highest levels of fame. He also saw an increase in album sales, charitable involvement as well as high-profile collaborations
